Taisuke Tsukimori (月森 大助) is a fictional Iga Ninja in Pure Heart: Ninjutsu Chronicle.
Creation and Concept[]
MGW wanted Ryo's generation to have three non-adopted children, with the heir being questionable and the second child being a daughter. The third child was decided when MGW wanted to create a rival for Shoutaro to serve a role similar to Hajime. Taisuke was created to be more aggressive and with a determined spirit.
Taisuke's name doesn't seem to be conventional in pre-modern era and was chosen out of a whim for simplicity. It's decided later that Ryoma named him due to him being "big" (tai/dai = big) in everything: mouth, heart, attitude, plus for its simplicity. Taisuke chose it out of it being simple (for a common name).

He is the youngest son and child of Ryō and Aina. Taisuke is an easily excitable person and is eager to learn. He wants to protect Iga and his family by all means. In fact, since it's so important to him, he takes up the role of assertion for his eldest sibling. As the youngest, having little chance to becoming the head of the household, he is also willing to take up a challenge when Shou is hesitant.
Story[]
Child name is "Yasumaro" (泰丸) and is the third child of Ryō and Aina Tsukimori. When he became of age at Genpu, he adopted the name Taisuke from his uncle Ryōma, and Tomotake (類武) for an adult name later.

Taisuke's main weapon is an inventive Bamboo staff (竹) . It's two bamboo segments attached together, one having a small blade covered by a cap, the other can be used as a blowgun and holding items. Both can be used for bludgeoning. Taisuke also favors sword skill (kenjutsu) like his father.
